Payment: card or invoice

The two ways to pay when you order, what happens next, and how the annual operations fee is charged.

Updated 8 July 2026

When you order, you choose how you'd like to pay. Both options give you exactly the same website and the same price – the only difference is the payment method. You'll meet the same choice if you've received a proposal from us and approve it online – see Proposals: how to approve and pay.

Option 1: Card

If you choose "Order and pay", you go on to a secure payment page (Stripe) where you pay by card.

  • You pay the first invoice right away: setup plus the first year of operations.
  • Ongoing operations renew automatically once a year on your card, so you don't have to think about it.
  • You get a receipt by email, and an invoice (PDF) for your accounts – also available in the customer portal.

This is the simplest option if you want everything sorted at once.

Option 2: Invoice

If you choose "Order with invoice", we register the order and send you an invoice by email instead.

  • You don't pay anything there and then.
  • We review the order and send you an invoice as a PDF by email, with the usual payment deadline (14 days).
  • You pay by bank transfer to the account number stated on the invoice (remember to mark the payment with the invoice number) – or by card via the payment link in the invoice email.
  • Operations in the following years are invoiced the same way, once a year.

This suits businesses that prefer an invoice for their bookkeeping.

What happens after you've paid or ordered?

Whatever the payment method, the next step is the same: we confirm the order and get started. See From order to launch.

Payment security

Card payments are handled by Stripe, one of the world's largest and most trusted payment providers. We never see or store your card number – it goes straight to Stripe over an encrypted connection.

Can I switch payment method later?

Yes. If you want to move from card to invoice or vice versa for the annual renewals, just get in touch and we'll sort it out.
