Change or cancel your agreement
How to upgrade, downgrade or cancel the subscription – and what happens to your website and domain.
Updated 5 September 2026
Needs change. Here's how to adjust or cancel your agreement, and what happens to your website, domain and content along the way.
Upgrade or add
Want more – more pages, a blog, email, booking or something else – we add it at any time. New options have their own setup cost, and if an option increases the monthly price (like email), the ongoing operations fee is adjusted from the next renewal. Just get in touch and we'll put together an overview before you decide.
Downgrade
If you need less than before, we look at what can be simplified. Some things can be removed straightforwardly; others are tied to how the site is built. We're honest about what's worth keeping and what you can safely cut.
Cancel
You're not tied down forever. If you want to cancel, you give notice on the ongoing operations, which then stop at the end of the period you've paid for.
What you should know:
- Operations are prepaid one year at a time. If you cancel, the site stays up until the end of the paid period.
- The domain is yours. It's registered to your business, so you keep your address regardless. An included .no domain is no longer renewed by us after termination; we transfer it to your own domain account on request so you renew it yourself. See Domains explained.
- The content is yours. Text, images and logo you've provided or had created belong to you.
What happens to the website itself if I cancel?
When operations end, the site is taken offline – it needs hosting to be available. We're happy to help you wind things down cleanly, and can hand over your content so you can take it elsewhere.
