Right of withdrawal

What is the right of withdrawal?
If you are a consumer (private individual), you generally have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. The deadline runs from when the agreement was entered into. The right of withdrawal does not apply to businesses.
How to use the right of withdrawal
You must give us an unambiguous notice that you wish to withdraw before the deadline expires. You can do this by email, or by filling in the standard withdrawal form at the bottom of this page. It is enough that the notice is sent before the deadline.
When work has begun before the deadline
If you expressly ask us to begin work before the withdrawal period expires – which you confirm when ordering – this affects the right of withdrawal:
- Domain registration is considered fully delivered upon registration, and the right of withdrawal for the domain lapses as soon as the domain is registered.
- For website development you must pay a proportionate amount for work performed if you withdraw along the way. The right of withdrawal lapses once the website is fully delivered.
This follows from section 11 of the terms of service and angrerettloven §§ 22 and 26.
Refunds
If you use the right of withdrawal, we refund what you have paid, less any proportionate amount for work already performed at your express request. The refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we received your notice.
