Getting started

What we need from you to get started

A simple checklist of the content and information we need to build your website – and what you can skip.

Updated 23 June 2026

The more of this you have ready, the faster your website is finished. But don't stress – you don't need everything at once, and we're happy to help you fill the gaps.

The basics

  • Business name and contact details – name, address, phone, email and organisation number.
  • Logo – ideally as a high-resolution file (PNG or SVG). If you don't have a logo, we can make one. See Logo and visual identity.
  • Domain name – the address people will type in, for example yourcompany.no. If you already have it, we need access; if you don't, we'll help you get one.

Content

  • Text – what you offer, who you are, and why people should choose you. If you write it yourself, drafts are enough – we polish. If you'd rather we write, we just need a conversation and some keywords.
  • Images – your own photos of premises, products, team or work make the biggest impression. If you're missing images, we use professional stock photos. See Images and media.
  • Services or products – a list of what you sell, ideally with a short description of each.

If relevant

  • Email addresses you want set up (for example [email protected]).
  • Existing accounts – Google Business Profile, Facebook page or similar that we should connect to.
  • Examples you like – websites you think look good. It helps us hit the style you're after.

How to send it

We'll agree on the easiest way for you – usually a shared folder or email. You don't need to organise anything in advance; send what you have and we'll take it from there.

Rule of thumb: if you have a logo, an idea of which pages you want, and some text or keywords – we have enough to make a good start.
