Online store

What to think through before starting an online store, and how we price and build it.

Updated 23 June 2026

If you're going to sell products online, you need an online store. Because needs vary enormously from business to business, an online store is always priced as its own proposal – not as a fixed add-on.

Why a separate proposal?

An online store for five handmade products is something completely different from one for five thousand items with stock, shipping and multiple payment methods. To give you the right price and the right solution, we have a conversation about what you're actually going to sell and how.

What we go through together

  • Range – how many products, and how often do they change?
  • Variants – sizes, colours, or other options per product?
  • Payment – card, Vipps, invoice, or several?
  • Shipping – flat rate, weight-based, pickup, integration with a courier?
  • Stock – should inventory be tracked automatically?
  • Accounting – should the store talk to your accounting or order system?

The answers determine which solution fits best, and therefore the price.

Our approach

We don't build online stores just to build online stores. Many people think they need a large, complex solution when something simpler would sell just as well and cost a fraction. We start by understanding your goal, and recommend the smallest thing that does the job – then the store can grow alongside you.

Get started

Thinking about selling online? Get in touch and tell us briefly what you want to sell, and we'll put together a proposal tailored to you. In the meantime, if you want to build the rest of the website, we can set that up now and add the store later.
