An email address on your own domain – [email protected] instead of [email protected] – looks more professional and builds trust. Here's how email works with us.

What you get

Email is an add-on to the website. It includes:

• Your own mailbox on your own domain, for example [email protected] or [email protected].
• Webmail – you read and send email in the browser, from anywhere. Log in at webmail.ibenta.no.
• IMAP/SMTP – connect the mailbox to the email programs you already use, like Outlook, Apple Mail or the email app on your phone. See Set up email on phone and PC.

The price is NOK 990 setup and NOK 100 per month per mailbox, added to the monthly subscription.

Webmail or your own program?

Both work – choose what you prefer:

• Webmail is simplest: no setup, just log in at webmail.ibenta.no in the browser. Nice if you check email from various machines.
• An email program (IMAP) lets you gather your email in the app you already use, with notifications and offline access. Because we use IMAP, everything syncs – read an email on your phone and it's marked read on your PC too.

What email isn't

To be clear: this is plain, unbranded mailbox hosting – a reliable address on your domain. It's not a large office suite with calendar, document sharing and video meetings like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. If you need that, we can point you in the right direction, but for most people who just want a professional email address, this is just right.

Delivery and security

We set up the necessary DNS records (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so your email is delivered safely and doesn't end up in recipients' spam. You don't need to think about this – it's part of the setup.
